Professional Hockey’s First Use of RGB Laser Projection Technology
During the 2024 playoffs, the Boston Bruins set out to elevate the fan experience and create an electrifying atmosphere at TD Garden. To achieve this, they partnered with Quince Imaging, a leader in immersive sports technology, to integrate advanced RGB laser projection mapping into their game presentation. Using 12 Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projectors, the Bruins delivered a stunning full-ice projection show before each home playoff game. The ultra-high-resolution display, with 50 million pixels, not only set a new standard for visual impact but also marked the first use of RGB laser projection in the NHL.

Quince integrated its Zelus technology to enhance the fan experience further, projecting real-time statistics directly onto the ice between periods. This unique combination of visuals and data captivated fans, adding a new dimension of excitement and engagement.
